The government has asked for responses to the white paper on possible changes to the planning process. Anyone can take part – any interested parties, groups or individuals.

Below you can find a link to the Parish Council’s response. It is the council’s views on central government’s  document ‘Planning for the Future’. The council thinks it right to take this consultation seriously. As you will see the response makes it clear that any new planning procedure must fit small rural communities like Fressingfield as well as larger urban areas.

This response will be passed on to the National Association of Local Councils ( NALC) on September 17th to form part of a national response. There are some 9,000 town and parish councils throughout the country. The NALC response will be listened to by the government.

The Parish Council will be responding to the other two elements of the consultation during September and early October.
