Fressingfield Parish Council, with a full complement, consists of 13 members. At the moment the council has two vacancies.

It is difficult for the council to work effectively and efficiently if there are insufficient councillors to share the workload. A range of skills and interests amongst councillors will add depth to the council’s discussions and improve its decision making. A quorum at all meetings will be more easily achieved if the council has its full complement of councillors. (Currently the quorum for full council meetings is five.)

Therefore, the council has decided to co-opt an additional three members. If you are interested, and would like to know more, please contact a member of the parish council (details available here) or to the parish clerk. The council will consider applications for co-option at its meeting on Tuesday 17 August, 7.30pm. This will be a public meeting in Sancroft Hall.

The council will follow its co-option policy to fill these vacancies. You can reda the policy here.
