The parish council has money set aside to support organisations and groups which have a local membership. It doesn’t matter if you are a well-established or just getting going. If you have a particular event or an idea to get off the ground, then you can apply for a grant from the parish council. This is using money raised through the precept.
Detailed guidance and an application form can be downloaded from this site. For more information and advice, contact the parish clerk. He will be able to talk through the scheme and explain how you can apply.
The council also uses some of its funds to support organisations based outside the parish whose services parishioners may call on. Last year these were East Anglian Air Ambulance, the Citizen’s Advice Bureau, East Anglia Children’s Hospices, Borderhoppa and the Waveney Foodbank.
